In the winter of 2004/2005 I created 16 identical painting panels and painted two a week for 8 weeks. Just painted. Whatever came. They are documentary of my psychology at the time and together, hung in a grid, created a stunning sixteen square foot mosaic of actualized thought-forms. The mosaic was never documented, alas, and the pieces were subsequently auctioned off like so much wooden chattel...some curators nightmare down the line, I suppose...BUT, I have included the work because it contains the seeds of basically every visual and stylistic idea I ended up working with for the next six years...
