While busy conducting my mixed media experiments, I was at the same time exploring the aspect of painting that realizes the figure is created from the ground...a parallel with understandings that consciousness is a creator, and not just a subject of, reality, that "reality" is a matrix of energy, and thus borders between entities can only be understood as fundamentally shifting, amorphous, contingent spaces...

the moments of imagery evoke mythical, mystical and religious figures and narratives and...these are my attempts to take all the tragedy, madness and chaos of both history and personal experience and make something beautiful of it...prayers, really....
