This mixed media series is so much about the physical presence of the materials, the fossilized layers of marks and the dynamic nature of the image depending on the light and the relationship of the viewer to the piece. The imagery is a pastiche of representational, surrealist and abstract motifs that revolves around the nature of origination. They are searching for Ur moments of consciousness, alchemical notes on the experiment, creating worlds by breaking up the surface's space.
