I see art-making as a balancing mechanism. In some ways it is a mental-health practice. In some ways it can destroy mental health. This piece reminds the viewer that life is largely an imaginary experience, and of the tremendous power we have to create and interplay with "reality". Life isn't happening to you, it's responding to you.
